Would be nice since the author who is so kind to his characters and readers has left us with a Cliffhanger.....Arrrrrrgh. Cant really say much hes probably not going to be able to get much out for a while with his up coming wedding.... sigh... another proud and strong bachelor bites the dust lol. John Walker

I knew I was hooked on the story when I bought the Audio copy for when I'm driving. I have 2 hours in the car daily and the audio series helps me pass my time there without any sense of frustration ( other than "where's the next dang book?")

I re-read the core books again recently, and was surprised at how much I got out of them the second time around. I found some of the oblique references much easier to grasp. They weren't quite "off putting" the first time, but it did make it harder to grapple with who was doing what to whom. I'm definitely looking forward to the next installment.

Between marriage and marriage, and marriage I doubt we will see another book in this series. Too many other series ongoing.... Hope I'm wrong.

I want the next book for only one reason, I'm wondering how Sally is going to take the idea that her sister gets a hot new bod, while she ended up with the ovoid inTuloriad. Bet she's going to demand the same body

Hi John, I've been a fan of yours for years and enjoy your books immensely. The downside to this is of course that as soon as I finish a book I look for another of yours to read. Sorry but it has to be said that John you are not writing fast enough. For example, the Looking Glass series is uncompleted bas of 2008. When are you going to write another in this series? "Eye of the Storm" another fantastic book and iirc out in July 2009. Now into 2012 and still no news of the sequel. When are you going to write another? "Hot Gate" published in hardcover in May 2011 so a good nine months has passed and still no news as to what great books are on the horizon. So for all your loyal fans John, please tell us what we can expect to see published in 2012.

Okay, maybe I need to go back and reread the series so I can get the jones.

There are going to be two more books. Two. That's it. Beneath the Avalanche and Master of the Wind.

I'm mentally positing Beneath the Avalanche for 2015 and Master of the Wind for 2020. Yeah. That long. Sorry.

May be sooner. I've been picking up the writing pace lately.

Does anyone want to see the one scene written for beneath the avalanche? Note: It's a tearjerker not a combat scene. Basically Mike talking to Mosovich about how he feels about killing his dad.

Yes I would love to read it. A great part of why I read and re read your books is that you make us care about the characters. It would be an important time in Mike's life and helping us understand him better. Thank you for asking.

Here's an idea for a story I'd like Kohn to write, the Posleen war told from the view of the fleet, in orbit fighting the Posleen

i just got this far in the series and have read every book up to now and discover that you are not going to publish anything more for another couple of years. that is sad, i hate when authors do this to series.

OK, just to be clear, Beneath the Avalanche and Master of the Wind are both sequels to Eye of the Storm?

3 years and 8 years. Damn, I knew I should of not been reading these series again. Read Watch on the Rhein, Yellow Eyes, and Eye of the Storm in the last few days. I should of avoided the books. John writes when he writes. I know this. He has written a few series that are not finished and his muse takes him elsewhere and I (and everyone else) is left hanging. Its a fact of life with John. Heck, at least it is better than other writers whose muse runs dry and so they just create whole novels full of nothing but maybe a few important things. I am torn to be honest. Should I just avoid him for the next 30 years and read everything thing then. Maybe a few series will be complete? Maybe? Or just accept that each book will likely have a cliffhanger or be part of story that is not complete and you never know when (or if) it will be completed. Oh well. Time to read something else.
